Harringrove Merman AU 🐟

Steve is a young lord, or the son of a lord/prestigious gentleman on a voyage, moving continents or traveling to represent his father in business (unwillingly, he doesn’t like these journeys and doesn’t have a good relationship with his father, so…insert usual Steve hc-s here with slight abandonment issues and a partial tendency for melancholy) but, he is still somewhat spoiled and bratty.
Billy being Billy, never keeps his distance from human ships and spots Steve one day, longing or walking on the deck, getting immediately captivated by Steve’s fairer skin, dark eyes and thick dark hair with his red lips, and deeply, completely denying it the next second, going the typical “pfft, who is this spoiled brat even looking at him makes me annoyed” and yet, still trailing after the ship, sneaking glances at the young man. Then one day there is a storm (of course, lol) and bam, things jerk into action. Mayhem, a shipwrecked Steve saved by a ‘wtf am I even doing’ Billy, a deserted island, ‘stranded together’ tropes, and the inevitable – we can’t stay together unless one of us leaves our people/previous lives forever – or, is that really the only option –? 

It was AU Month (October is creature au month don’t try to deny it) and i completely forgot to post these sketches even though i was keeping them for October specifically. ahhhh!!! Well, this is me. a walking disaster. Hi.
These were the very first fanarts I did of the boys (as a result of some enthusiastic ramblings with a friend

) so they’ve been sitting in my folder forever. They look quite different from how I draw them now but, I also like to change them slightly, depending on the AU.  Now I feel embarrassed about this, though. lol I’m sorry!! But sometimes, Billy has that sultry ‘mer’ look, okay.
